14k gold filled is a high-quality, durable jewelry material featuring a thick layer of 14k gold mechanically bonded to a base metal core (usually brass) using heat and pressure. It is regulated to contain at least 5% (or 1/20th) gold by weight, making it highly resistant to tarnishing, peeling, and skin-safe (hypoallergenic).
